CEDAR Woods has unveiled plans for a new $180 million community in Wooloowin, bringing more than 250 homes and apartments to the leafy inner Brisbane suburb.
Greville, five kilometres from the CBD, will feature a mix of terrace homes, apartments and heritage residences and also include a 4,000 sqm community park.
Cedar Woods is taking expressions of interest for the first stage, which will comprise 12 north facing, three bedroom terrace homes, ahead of the official launch in late September.
Cedar Woods senior development manager, Peter Starr said there would be four different floorplans so there is a design to suit people in all stages of life, while lush landscaping would feature heavily, in keeping with the garden feel of Wooloowin and nearby parklands like Melrose Park and Kedron Brook.
“Externally, the terrace homes have taken cues from the ever-popular architecture of the classic Queenslander and brought that design into the modern era, and we have complemented this with significant landscaping,” he said.
Greville is a 400 metre walk from Wooloowin train station and one kilometre from the Northern Busway at Lutwyche, with the northern bikeway extension at the doorstep.
The first terrace homes at Greville are priced from below $800,000.
The Greville name is a nod to architect Francis Drummond Greville Stanley who, among a number of landmark buildings in Brisbane, designed the Holy Cross Laundry that opened in 1889 and remains a centrepiece of the community.
