CBRE has recruited rural agents Matt Childs and Adrienne Harvey as it expands its agribusiness platform.
Childs is an established operator throughout Victoria and New South Wales with take up the role of agribusiness capital markets director following 16 years at Pat, Rice & Hawkins, where he was a former shareholder in the company.
“Matt’s addition to the team will bolster our commitment to meeting and exceeding our clients’ goals and will add another established leader to the ranks of CBRE Agribusiness,” CBRE Agribusiness managing director David Goodfellow said.
“Matt’s skills in communicating with principals of both family-owned and community farms as well as large corporate-owned businesses are highly valued in the industry today, and he has a wonderfully diverse network.”
Harvey, affectionately known as Boo, joined the team as an associate director in mid-August.
She has devoted her career to agriculture, having worked in rural banking and agricultural real estate sales with Inglis Rural Property and then Nutrien Harcourts.
“Boo brings considerable experience in originating, executing and closing deals of all sizes across the rural industry. As an experienced agricultural realtor and farmland owner, with a strong network throughout southern NSW, we’re excited to have Boo join our growing team,” Goodfellow said.
