JLL has appointed a new managing director for project and development services (PDS) – Australia and New Zealand, in Alan McKay.
McKay brings more than two decades of experience in project and construction management to the position, including 16 years with JLL and most recently as Victorian state manager for PDS.
McKay started with JLL in London and has since played a key role leading the PDS business across NSW and Victoria.
“Alan’s exceptional contribution as State Manager for PDS Victoria since 2016 has been outstanding, achieving an impressive fivefold increase in the performance of the business during his tenure,” said Martin Hinge, executive managing director of PDS at JLL, Asia Pacific.
“This has cemented the PDS business as the state’s biggest project management firm and has now given us the opportunity to put a very high calibre executive into the lead role for Australia and New Zealand, one of our key markets globally.”
McKay has spent seven years under the leadership of the outgoing PDS managing director – ANZ, Scott McCrossin.
“It’s an exciting time to be moving into the MD role as we continue our growth into new sectors and services, building upon the strong legacy established by Scott,” said McKay.
McCrossin has almost 35 years of experience in project and construction management and will assume a new role as executive director of PDS – ANZ and will continue chairing the Work Dynamics Board for Australia and New Zealand.
“Over the past seven years, under Scott’s leadership, our PDS business in Australia in particular has experienced tremendous growth, expanding the scope of projects and service offerings and opening new markets,” added Hinge.
