SUPERMARKET chain Aldi has secured a development site in Marsden Park within the $2 billion Sydney Business Park project.

Aldi has paid for $4.5 million for the 8,048 sqm site located at 920 Richmond Rd Marsden Park and has obtained approval to develop a 1,000 sqm supermarket.
Aldi is the second major retailer in a fortnight to get a foothold in 256ha Sydney Business Park, which is anchored by a 28,000 sqm Ikea store.
Other tenants include Costco, Bunnings, Masters Home Improvement, Home Hub, Lindt and ALDI.
Sydney Business Park has a 12 year construction life and is due for completion in 2025.
