JOINT venture partners Central Element and MaxCap have sold 60% of their $150 million Ethos Chatswood luxury apartment project, after launching to the public last weekend.
The SJB-designed development comprises a boutique collection of ultra-luxury one-, two- and three-bedroom residences across a 17 level tower on Sydney’s Lower North Shore.
“We’ve had a truly exceptional response from buyers as we bring the residences at Ethos to market demonstrating that buyer demand for holistic ultra-luxury living and amenity in Chatswood is high,” said Nathan Chivas, managing director at Central Element.
“Ethos is the first offering of luxury residential in Chatswood in nearly four years and a rare opportunity in Sydney real estate. Following a high volume of interest and unprecedented enquiry levels, we are very pleased following the official launch to market on Saturday.”
Sales over the weekend were predominately dominated by local owner-occupiers and included a premium three-bedroom offering secured for $7 million.
“Ethos is attracting interest predominantly from the Sydney Upper North Shore from suburbs such as Roseville, Killara and Chatswood locals looking to significantly upgrade their level of amenity. We also had buyers put down deposits on multiple units, with a view to bring family into the private sanctuary of this high-quality luxury development,” said Ben Stewart from CBRE Residential Australia.
A major drawcard for buyers was Ethos’ wellness-led resident amenities, including a Sky Lounge and a resident-only wellness studio with space for yoga, exercise and meditation.
“For us, achieving a sense of sanctuary was critical, so we made sure to curate amenities that resonate with how people want to live; including wellness spaces that allow people to relax or feel invigorated or exercise,” added Chivas.
The development marks the first luxury residential offering in Chatswood for nearly four years.
A $1.2 million state-of-the-art display suite is now open daily by appointment at 3 Spring Street in Chatswood.
