ARIA Property has submitted a development application for a new residential thirty-floor tower in the centre of South Brisbane.
Located on Cordelia Street, the proposed development will comprise a mixture of one-, two-, three- and four-bedroom apartments, with amenities including a rooftop pool, sky terrace and dining and lounging areas.
This in addition to work-from-home spaces and private offices throughout the lobby, with landscaping and outdoor seating and lounging areas.
The curvaceous Woods Bagot-designed development will boast green walls on the building’s podium façade, with brick finishes along the ground plane referencing the character of the surrounding area.
“Our vision was to continue to support and invest in the area, building on our long-term relationships and establishing new connections within the community. We’re excited to contribute to its future growth and opportunities,” said Michael Hurley, development manager at Aria Property.
The project is placed within a minute walk of the iconic Fish Lane, which Aria Property has helped revitalise and re-develop along with Brisbane City Council, since 2014.
Lodging this latest DA follows Aria Property’s successful completion of its award-winning development, The Standard.
The Standard comprises 261 one-, two- and three-bedroom apartments at 15 Manning Street, South Brisbane, with 94% of the apartments selling before works commenced in 2018.
The new project will be a sister tower to The Standard, drawing inspiration from the circular motif used, creating a proportioned form with a three-storey crown rising above.
