The Collins Street Tower is the new place to "Work, Live and Play", an $80 million redevelopment by Asian Pacific Building Corporation has transformed the building into Australia’s largest service office complex.
The Collins Street Tower includes a 400 seat office complex, food emporium and vodka bar, boutique fashion outlet, gymnasium, lap pool, sauna, boardrooms and conference facilities.
The Collins Street Tower also features 260 serviced apartments, which are operated and managed by Oaks Hotels & Resorts Ltd.
Located at 480 Collins Street, the property is opposite the Rialto Towers and next to the Australian Stock Exchange.
The building is minutes from the Southern Cross railway station, the Docklands, Telstra Dome and Crown Entertainment Complex.
APBC’s director Jonathan Deague said 480 Collins Street combines premium quality business suites and a hotel/retail complex offering a wide range of services for local, interstate and international businesses.
He added that demand for the serviced offices at 480 Collins Street has been strong with a range of start ups and small companies keen to establish a Collins Street address.
The serviced office component stretches over the three lower floors of the tower, offering suites which ideally suit businesses ranging in size from 1-50 people looking for short to long term serviced accommodation.
“After a year or so, most businesses are on a growth path that sees them move into a long term office arrangement or purchase. APBC’s 530 Lt Collins Street, offers them the opportunity to buy an office or take a longer term lease,” Deague said.
The Collins Street Tower project is the eighth building of its kind completed by APBC in the last decade, with each one setting new boundaries in the office/commercial market.
APBC currently operates more than 1,000 seats in serviced offices in seven locations around inner Melbourne’s CBD, St Kilda Road, Kew and Malvern.
APBC recently completed St Kilda Road Towers @ 1 Queens Road, which is Australia’s largest business networking precinct with more than 400 businesses and over 2,500 people.
Deague said the office suites are affordable and offer access to high quality boardrooms/conference facilities, business centre services and the hotel as part of the total Collins Street Tower service.
