HOME buyers have camped out to snap up 22 blocks of land at the Providence Estate in Greenvale in Melbourne’s North, in just 29 minutes.
Oliver Hume’s Paul Ciprian said only one buyer was a first home buyer.
The blocks range from $200,000 to more than $290,000 in the first new land release in Greenvale for more than a decade.
He said the new buyers in the market were in the 35-45 age range judging from the 103 potential buyers who went through the marketing office the previous weekend.
Ciprian said Providence buyers were coming from established homes in Roxburgh Park and Greenvale keen to get a new home while staying close to existing facilities.
Providence is near the intersection of Mickleham Rd and Somerton Rd near Aitken College.
