Canadian Urban Limited has promoted Sorab Gill to vice president, head of capital formation and investor relations, Green Street News can reveal.
In his new role, Gill will work from the firm’s Edmonton headquarters with institutional investors, family offices and private wealth clients.
Gill also will help shape Canadian Urban’s capital strategy by working with its senior leadership team to expand the firm’s real estate platform across Canada.
The appointment was effective April 1. Gill reports to Jay Hamilton, president.
Prior to his promotion, the industry veteran was a vice president of asset management at Canadian Urban for a little over two years. He has been with the firm since 2019.
