AN owner occupier has bought a Cannon Park showroom and warehouse in Thuringowa, Townsville for $1.35 million.
Lot 2 & 3 Blackhawk Boulevard, the purchaser was construction company North Haven Homes.
Selling agent Colliers International’s Adrian Pascoe said North Haven Homes was encouraged by the regions robust economic activity and the buildings location close to some of Townsville’s affordable residential construction precincts of Kirwan and the northern beaches.
“The building is well located in one of Townsville’s leading commercial precincts. The 709 sqm two titled showroom and warehouse has access to Riverway Dr and Hervey Range Road.” he added.
Colliers International Townsville director of research and consulting Colin Dwyer said recent research identified three major Facility Impact Zones in Townsville; CBD, JCU/Lavarack and Thuringowa.
“The North Haven Homes new location is strategically smart because it provides good access to the new facility impact zones of JCU and Thuringowa and new residential growth centre’s of Greater Townsville,” Dwyer concluded.
