Maxime Foucaud has been named managing director of CBRE Ottawa, effective Sept. 30.
Foucaud picks up leadership of the Ottawa office from Louis Karam, who in May became managing director for Quebec.
Most recently, Foucad spent about five years as a vice president on CBRE’s national investment team in Montréal. He left the team in 2023 to move his family to Wakefield, Que., just north of Ottawa.
Foucad came to CBRE originally in 2019 as part of a JLL team led by Scott Speirs.
In partnership with Speirs, Foucaud brokered more than $4bn of transactions, including the sale of the Molson brewery in Montréal in 2018, the Montréal World Trade Center in 2019 and Tour KPMG in 2021.
CBRE Ottawa celebrated its 25th anniversary in July.
