NATIONAL property fund manager and developer, Centennial has appointed former Charter Hall asset manager, Jane Travers to the role of asset & leasing manager, Queensland.
It’s the second time in just a few weeks that Centennial has announced the hire of former Charter Hall personnel, after Nick Lidonnici joined as head of portfolio management, where oversee the asset management team and fund management operations of the non-institutional industrial and logistics assets.
The company is growing its asset portfolio in the mid-space commercial real estate sector, with a particular focus in Queensland on last-mile industrial and logistics urban infill sites.
Centennial has recently finalised the $63 million acquisition of three urban infill industrial sites in south east Queensland that when upgraded, will have an end value of approximately $130 million.
To be based in Centennial’s Brisbane office, Travers has more than 10 years’ experience working across both the industrial and logistics and office market sectors and in her most recent role, oversaw $1.5 billion of funds under management for Charter Hall’s Queensland industrial & logistics portfolio.
Travers also has expertise in the leasing, valuation and project management segments.
On Travers’ appointment, Centennial’s executive director and CEO, industrial & logistics Paul Ford said, “I have no doubt she will be a great asset to our dynamic and growing team and her skills will add to our high levels of service delivery while enabling us to continue providing exceptional results and benefits to our many stakeholders”.
Centennial currently has more than $1.8 billion worth of property assets across Australia with a further $1.2 billion of projects in the pipeline.
