Bradken will leaseback the property located at 170 Railway Parade Bassendean for a 15-year period. The facility comprises some 31,000 sqm of covered floor space – including office, warehouse, heavy duty workshop and laboratory improvements – and approximately 28,000 sqm of hardstand on a landholding of more than 7ha.
Colliers International director industrial Raj Singh and Wayne Chorley brokered the deal.
“We took this asset to institutional, local and offshore clients and presented the property to them on a one-to-one basis as a sale and leaseback opportunity.
“Ultimately we dealt with 12 interested buyers, with five serious bids battling it out to secure the property,” Singh said.
