HYDROCHEM has offloaded two Cheltenham industrial properties in Melbourne’s south-east at auction for a combined $2.45 million.
The 863sqm 30 Viking Court property was sold for $1.27 million, $370,000 above the reserve price. It has an office warehouse area of 636sqm and was sold at $1,997 per sqm.
The adjoining property at 32 Viking Court sold for $1.175 million, $275,000 above the reserve. The 858sqm site has a 665sqm building and five car spaces, and was sold at $1,767 per sqm.
Knight Frank’s Stuart Gill and Deam Kimitsis sold the properties.
Gill said they 138 enquiries prior to the auction with each property receiving more than 200 bids before they each sold to separate owner occupiers. HydroChem will be relocating to nearby Braeside.
