Colliers International has launched Colliers PRD, a new residential brand.
Colliers PRD brings together two companies – Colliers International and PRDnationwide.
The launch follows Colliers International’s purchase of PRDnationwide in May this year to form the largest commercial and residential property services provider in Australasia.
Colliers International in Australia’s chief executive John Kenny said Colliers PRD is already appointed to market 50 key residential projects equating to $3.5 billion in value in Brisbane, the Gold Coast, Sydney and Melbourne.
He added that a further $4 billion of property is expected to come on line over the next five years across prestige residential houses, apartments and land subdivisions across the country.
Grant Dearlove, previously with PRDnationwide, has been appointed chief operating officer of Colliers PRD.
Dearlove said the launch comes on the back of strong performances across Australia’s residential market, with the ABS June house price index figures showing every capital city has moved into positive growth.
“The premium end of the residential property market is performing particularly well.
“We expect prices in the lifestyle and other premium markets to continue to improve,” he added.
Joining Grant to lead Colliers PRD on a local level will be John Egan in Brisbane; Tony Holland on the Gold Coast; Murray Wood (Project Marketing), Dino Carulli (Land Marketing) and Peter Krieg (Development) in Sydney; and Tim Storey and Brett Griffith in Melbourne.
