IT giant Dell Technologies is backing the return to the workplace, signing a lease agreement on Sydney’s Lower North Shore that will create a new Australia and New Zealand regional head office.
It will set up in new digs within The Zenith Towers in Chatswood, on Sydney’s Lower North Shore, consolidating three sites at Frenchs Forest, St Leonards and Macquarie Park.
The new space will span over 5,200 sqm and across levels one to five at the dual tower complex.
Arrow Capital Partners and US-fund manager Starwood Capital bought The Zenith three years ago for $438.2 million in a record non-CBD office complex sale.
“Dell Technologies team members have long benefitted from a flexible hybrid working environment. However, we still also believe in the importance of ongoing collaboration as we drive innovative business outcomes and develop meaningful workplace relationships, all of which are instrumental to a healthy work culture,” said Angela Fox, senior vice president and managing director of Dell Technologies ANZ.
Kurt Wilkinson, partner at Arrow Capital Partners, said that in addition to securing the lease to Dell Technologies, leases to new and existing tenants had been finalised over an additional 3,000 sqm of office space in the last 12 months.
