INDUSTRIAL property developer, Makland, has paid $4 million for a site at Derrimut in Melbourne’s west, in a deal negotiated by Savills Australia.
Savills industrial director Tim Casanelia and David Norman sold the property at 10 Fulton Drive on behalf of an entity associated with the Costas Group.
The property comprises a 3.794 ha infill site zoned industrial 2 and the abuts Costas DC in the Gilbertson Industrial Estate, which is also home to occupiers such as Fastline, Bulla Dairy, Aldi, and Bridgestone.
Casanelia said the purchaser had plans for an office and warehouse facility.
“There are purchasers out there looking for quality properties but there aren’t a lot of opportunities to purchase sites such as this on a sought after estate in close proximity to the west’s premium transport network.” Casanelia said.
