PROPERTY group Dyldam has picked Nettleton Tribe + Fox Johnston winning design for a 62-storey apartment building, which will become Parramatta’s tallest residential tower.
The winning scheme was picked by a jury panel which comprised of Kim Crestani, City Architect, City of Parramatta Council, Olivia Hyde, Director – Design Excellence, Office of the Government Architect and Russell Olsson, Architect + Urban Designer.
Located on the corner of Church St and Great Western Highway, opposite the lifestyle precinct South Quarter, the 87 Church St project is the final piece in Dyldam’s vision for the southern gateway of Parramatta.
The 62-storey mixed-use tower includes a six-storey podium and up to 450 apartments. The retail/commercial component of the development will span across 3,306 sqm.
“87 Church Street will complete the transformation of one of Sydney’s most crucial intersections into a mini-metropolis just metres from Parramatta’s CBD, transport hub and Westfield’s retail superstructure,” Dyldam’s CEO Fayad S Fayad said.
“Nettleton Tribe + Fox Johnston’s design reflects the mature confidence and quest for excellence that resonates throughout the City of Parramatta,” Fayad added.
