PROPERT group Top Spring Australia’s residential project in Elizabeth Bay has been approved by the City of Sydney.
The site in Sydney’s inner-Eastern Suburbs at 11-13 Greenknowe Avenue, will replace the current structure which was once the headquarters of the NSW Country Women’s Association.
The harbourside project will Consist of 30 one-, two- and three-bedroom residences, including a penthouse, above a 31-vehicle capacity single-level basement car park, with green spaces designed by Taylor Brammer Landscape Architects.
The PBD Architects-designed scheme will reflect the surrounding area’s heritage, with a brick façade and deco features, additionally, Top Spring has brought on Melbourne-based Miriam Fanning of MIM Design.
“Elizabeth Bay is well-known for its stunning architecture, so with our Greenknowe Avenue project, we are committed to delivering an exemplary level of quality and design, while respecting and honouring the distinctive architectural character of the local surroundings,” said Sydney Ma, director and general manager at Top Spring Australia.
Ma also states that the limited number of new residential Elizabeth Bay developments means “this is a major point of attraction for residents, it also means there are not typically many opportunities for redesigning the suburb’s urban fabric.”
“It will be of utmost importance for us to deliver an outstanding building design that complements Elizabeth Bay, and it’s pleasing to know the City of Sydney approves of our vision.”
Sales are expected to commence from April 2021, with site planned for a 2023 completion date.
