THE Commonwealth Department of Families, Housing, Community Services and Indigenous Affairs has appointed Jones Lang LaSalle to manage its commercial tenancies and residential portfolio.
This is JLL’s eight government or corporate client appointment, so far the firm has secured contracts from Woolworths; Ericsson; the Commonwealth Department of Human Services; Centrelink; Medicare Australia; Nokia; and Philips.
“This appointment demonstrates the maturity and growth of the Facility Management market in Australia and our position in it,” JLL Australia’s head Stephen Conry said.
The FaHCSIA portfolio comprises 54 commercial sites in all states and territories, spanning approximately 110,000 sqm of NLA. It also includes a residential portfolio of 131 houses, located primarily in northern Australia and remote townships.
