FORMER NSW Premier Mike Baird and his wife Kerryn have listed their ocean-view home in North Curl Curl, 5 years after purchasing the house.
The house has been labelled with a $5.5 million tag to be used as a guide for the impending auction, scheduled for November 5. The median house price for North Curl Curl within the last 12 months is $3.325 million – up 6.9% from 12 months ago.
The couple purchased the home for $3.6 million and they return to the listing to Clarke & Humel’s Cherie Humel and James Eyden – the same agents who sold it to them.
It’s believed that with all three of the couple’s children finishing their schooling, they’re now looking to downsize. Following his departure as Premier, Baird became chief customer officer at NAB from 2017 to 2020 before moving on to his current position of CEO at HammondCare. HammondCare is a Christian aged care provider of palliative and dementia care.
The house is home to 5 bedrooms and 3 bathrooms with the main bedroom featuring a walk-in robe, ensuite and sensational views. The clifftop house is placed on 461 square metres, surrounded by private, easy-care landscaped gardens. It has also valued its security with CCTV cameras surrounding the home with secure front and side gates accompanied by a keypad and intercom to enter securely. There’s a family room with a wet bar which opens to a covered deck and garden. A covered terrace offers glorious vistas of Manly Beach, the city skyline and the ocean. It comes with a self-contained flat, Jacuzzi and its cul-de-sac location is just a 5-minute walk from North Curl Curl beach.
The self-contained flat also contains its own living room, kitchen, bedroom and bathroom and it has private external and internal access.
