PAUL Fridman’s Fridcorp has launched a $700 million mini-urban village project in Sydney’s southern suburb of Hurstville.
Located at 93 Forest Rd, the DKO Architecture-designed Beyond will comprise a mix of 556 one, two and three bedroom apartments across four buildings varying from eight to 20 levels on a 13,927 sqm site. Woods Bagot is responsible for the apartment interiors.
One bedroom apartments range from 50 to 61 sqm and are priced from $565,000 – $825,000. Two bedroom apartments range from 75 to 92 sqm and are priced from $840,000 to $1,140,000. Three bedrooms range from 95 to 107 sqm and are priced from $1,225,000 to $1,675,000. All floor plan sqm ranges exclude balconies.
In addition, there will be a 5,000 sqm retail plaza, anchored by a 3,500 sqm Woolworths supermarket with the remaining space dedicated to specialty retail, cafes and restaurants.
“Fridcorp is excited to offer buyers thoughtfully designed apartments with immediate access to incredible amenity, which will help drive the evolution of Hurstville,” Fridman said.
“The success of our Eve project in Erskineville demonstrated that there is an appetite for our quality designed product in Sydney that appeals to a sophisticated audience,” he added.
Beyond will also have 600 resident car parks, 80 visitor parking spaces and 200 retail parking spaces.
Fridcorp opens its BEYOND display suite and will accept registrations of interest from 1 October 2016, with the project officially launching on 22 October. Construction is expected to commence in August 2017 and is due for completion in July 2019.
Fridcorp has approximately $1.5 billion of apartments under development, with further projects including Brisbane, South Yarra and North Melbourne in progress.
