DEVELOPER Jeff Xu’s Golden Age Group has hit the ground running for 2022, starting construction on the first two stages of its Willow Springs land estate in Melbourne’s west.
The move follows the sell-out success of its first three stages to a mix of first-home buyers, owner-occupiers and investors, totalling almost $50 million.
As a result, stage 4 is earmarked for the end of February.
Xu said Golden Age had the foresight to buy site, situated 30km west of Melbourne’s CBD, in 2017, keenly aware of its potential once key infrastructure had been established.
“Rockbank’s proximity to schools, supermarkets and retailers, child care, aged care facilities, and public transport positions it as a perfect base in Melbourne’s strong performing western growth corridor.
“What sets Willow Springs apart is it is a smaller-scale boutique development yet it still benefits from nearby amenities,” said Xu.
Located at 520 – 578 Greigs Road Rockbank, Winslow Constructors have been appointed for the first two stages. Upon completion, Willow Springs will be home to over 400 homes.
