MGJ Properties has secured the Department of Families, Community Services and Indigenous Affairs to occupy Centreplaza building in Woden, Canberra.
FaCSIA’s lease has committed to the entire six level, 12,000-sqm building, with the exception of the ground floor retail space including a 300 sqm café.
The property was managed, design and built by Bovis Lend Lease. A 5 star Australian Building Greenhouse Rating is being targeted for the base building.
Bovis Lend Lease completed FaCSIA’s new tenancy at Centraplaza two months ahead of Schedule on March 31.
Bovis Lend Lease’s project manager Meagan Hill said the fitout completion date was moved forward from May 31 to accommodate the department’s need for earlier occupation.
Located in the Woden Town Centre in Canberra, the building was designed by Bligh Voller Nield and Northrop Engineers.
