GREENLAND Australia and GH Australia are launching Stage 2 of their mixed-use residential development joint venture, Park Sydney, in the city’s inner-west.
Arbor, the new eight-level building in the Erskineville based latest stage of the Greenland Golden Horse development will comprise of one-, two- and three-bedroom apartments, will be delivered following the completion of Botany and Cascade from Stage 1.
“Park Sydney is a long-term, multi-stage project, and this is a really exciting milestone in the transformation of this former industrial precinct,” said Sherwood Luo, managing director of Greenland Australia.
Park Sydney is anticipated to become one of Sydney’s largest urban renewal projects, spanning 6.9 hectares.
Stage 1 of the development is currently 99% occupied, creating an established community, which Luo believes will further entice buyers.
“We expect there to be strong interest in Arbor from young singles, couples and mid-life households, who will be attracted to the project’s high-quality finishes, luxury appliances, and open-plan living areas that have been designed for effortless living and entertaining,” said Luo.
The Turner Architects-designed project will be constructed in an image of brickwork, concrete and metal inspired by the former Hadfields Steel Works.
“Turner Architects have done a great job in ensuring Arbor will sit in harmony with Botany and Cascade, and the area overall, while still maintaining its own distinct presence,” added Luo.
Arbor will include community amenities such as a rooftop terrace with two landscaped garden spaces, outdoor dining areas, a turf lawn and a communal veggie garden.
Additionally the apartment building will feature a music room, dining and entertaining room and access to existing central park and kids playground, with an on-site childcare centre expected to be delivered in early 2022, as part of the developments eventual 10,000sqm of retail, 4,000sqm full-range supermarket and 1,000sqm of specialty retail.
Park Sydney Village will also offer residents existing on-site convenience and lifestyle retail, with a Woolworths Metro, pharmacy, medical centre, dental practice, nail salon, barber shop, sushi store and café.
