An industrial property in Grimsby, Ont., has changed hands for $15.5m, Green Street News can reveal.
The 40,000 sq ft property, at 317 South Service Road, was acquired by Di-Mond on Oct. 29 from a private seller. The price works out to $388/sq ft.
Di-mond, which designs and manufactures products for the transportation industry such as trailers and vans, plans to occupy the property, which was built in 1980. On 4.7 acres, it has a showroom and a yard.
The building is centrally located, approximately 30 km to John C. Munro Hamilton International Airport, 50 km to the U.S. border and 40 km to Toronto.
