A LOCAL developer has forked out $11.4 million for a 2,376 sqm office building site in Melbourne’s Heidelberg, offered with approval for an eight-level project with 120 apartments.
Colliers sold the 104-120 Mount St property that is opposite Heidelberg train station, close to the Burgundy St retail strip and the Heidelberg medical precinct which includes the Austin Hospital, Mercy Hospital for Women, Olivia Newton-John Cancer & Wellness Centre, the Warringal Private Hospital and the Mercy Women’s Hospital.
Permitted plans also include five retail tenancies, one restaurant and an office space, and the property and an alternate scheme was available providing larger apartments and an increase in overall project NSA.
The two-level office building has short term tenancies in place.
