INVESTA has lured two new tenants to its premium-grade 567 Collins Street office tower in Melbourne’s CBD.
Existing sub-lease tenant Intrepid Travel has decided to extend its stay, signing a lease for its global head office over 2,500 sqm for an additional two years, until 2024.
The group relocated from inner-city Fitzroy to create an activity-based workspace.
Leadership development firm Nous Group has also joined the building, committing to 2,000 sqm of space on a seven-year deal.
The recently-constructed building has a net lettable area of around 55,000sqm across 26 levels, and is jointly owned by the Investa Office fund and Investa Commercial Property Fund.
“The new leases take the building’s WALE to more than 10 years and diversifies the lease expiry profile providing a great outcome for both our funds,” Investa Group Executive, Michael Cook said.
“The 567 Collins team demonstrated Investa’s flexibility and hands-on approach. We were able to tailor the leases to accommodate each business’ specific requirements,” Cook said.
Other tenants in the building include legal firm Corrs Chambers Westgarth and energy giant Jemena.
