KNIGHT Frank has appointed Richard Horne as national director of investment sales, based in the Sydney office.
Horne is the former senior managing director of CBRE’s New Zealand operation and a 20 year veteran of the property industry in the UK, Australia and NZ.
He will be working closely with national director of capital transactions James Parry, executive chairman Stephen Ellis, national director of retail sales and investments Phil O’Donovan and the regional investment specialists across Australia and NZ.
“Richard’s strong investment sales track record and proven leadership skills make him an excellent strategic hire for Knight Frank at an important stage in the growth of our business. His experience in the retail, office and industrial sectors in both Australia and New Zealand, will further strengthen our growing agency business,” Ellis said.
“I was attracted by the reach and quality of the Knight Frank brand and the fact they are a private partnership. When you look at the strength and momentum of the company globally, it is clear that there are terrific growth opportunities for the business in Australia and New Zealand. I’m really excited about joining Knight Frank and pursuing those opportunities,” Horne said.
