ASX-listed property valuation firm LandMark White is changing its name to Acumentis.
LandMark White will remain as the company’s listed group name for the short term; until it is revised to align with the new brand.
The new name is derived from two Latin words – acumen (a keen insight and sharpness in business) and mentis (mastery of mind, intellect, reason and courage).
CEO Timothy Rabbitt said that the new brand would become a cornerstone for the future direction of the company, which will continue as one of Australia’s largest independent property valuation and property consultancy firms, with 40 offices and more than 300 staff in metropolitan and regional locations around the country.
“Our clients rely on our services every day to make major decisions across a broad range of industries. That’s why we enhance our data with accurate and insightful analysis, so clients can confidently make informed decisions without hesitation.
“Acumentis is a positive word that reflects what our clients say about our service. It’s not just the data we provide that makes the difference – it’s the professionalism and integrity of our people, combined with insights and knowledge, that make us unique. This won’t change. We’re excited to enter a new chapter in our company’s long history – one that will be driven by talented property professionals and outstanding systems to deliver insightful, reliable and timely advice,” he added.
Acumentis will offer an expanded range of valuation and advisory services, increased geographical coverage and maintain LandMark White, Taylor Byrne and former company MVS National’s strong relationships and proven track record for delivering best-in-class service to clients and partners, who have entrusted the companies on their panels of valuation providers.
Furthermore, the company now has the industry’s most secure IT platform holding ISO 27001 certification, following considerable investment and system enhancements made in 2019, in the wake of the data breach.
The new brand name will not affect any service contracts and agreements in place with LandMark White or Taylor Byrne.
