A BEACHFRONT site with development potential along the Main Beach on the Gold Coast has sold for $8.2 million.
The approximately 792 sqm block at 3531 Main Beach Parade, Main Beach was sold to a local developer by Ray White Commercial’s Michael Willems.
The buyer has plans to develop an apartment complex.
Willems said the site, which is currently occupied by an older beach home, attracted strong local, interstate and overseas interest.
“There is an option for the purchaser to continue to rent out the property for holding income while obtaining approval for plans for a seven storey residential apartment building offering exclusive whole floor space,” he said. “This is absolute beachfront land at Main Beach so it was highly sought after.”
