- What Deloitte appointed as liquidators of Warehouse and Oasis’ Irish operation
- Why Business no longer solvent after UK business lapsed into administration
- What next 13 stores and 29 concession wound up
Deloitte has been appointed as liquidators for the Irish operation of the Warehouse and Oasis fashion retail group.
The order to wind up the two firms, which between them employ 248 people at 13 stores and 29 concession stands in Ireland, comes after administrators were appointed to its UK parent.
Deloitte Ireland has been appointed in relation to Oasis Fashions Ireland Ltd and Warehouse Fashion Ireland Ltd, which are owned by Kaupthing Bank.
The Icelandic bank has been exploring sale options for the retail group, but ultimately those talks failed to come to fruition and the group’s UK business lapsed into administration. This led to the Irish arm being declared insolvent.
