A NEARBY business has pounced on a Clayton industrial facility, paying $4.98 million prior to auction, to accommodate its expansion plans.
The 8 Treforest Drive property has a 3,648 sqm building on a 4,636 sqm site with heavy power supply, on-site substation and high clearance.
Chris McKenzie and Matthew Marenko of Crabtrees Real Estate sold the property.
Current owner occupiers Admil Adhesives will be relocating to larger premises at 84 Peters Avenue in Mulgrave.
“The sale again underlines the strength in the industrial market for owner occupier opportunities,” McKenzie said.
