LMJ Rubin Pty Ltd has taken advantage of demand for development land north of Brisbane’s CBD and sold a 2,036 sqm Pinkenba site for $916,200 plus GST.
An undisclosed local private investor acquired the empty 29 Harris Road parcel, which is zoned General Industry B and is part of the undeveloped Airport Link Industrial Estate.
Ray White Commercial’s Paul Anderson and Aaron Aleckson negotiated the deal. The agency recently sold 49 Harris Road, and is now marketing the vacant 4,001 sqm corner property at 9 Harris Road, one of two remaining sites in the Estate. Eight sites have sold.
“The Eagle Farm inventory is the lowest I’ve seen in 20 years and Pinkenba really is the next stop,” Anderson said. “This, combined with the cruise ship terminal, second runway to Brisbane Airport and the pending upgrade of the Pinkenba Hotel, means the precinct has a real buzz, and that makes it an easy sell to astute investors.
Ray White Commercial is expecting to finalise a hardstand lease on behalf of the new owner of 29 Harris Road in the coming weeks.
