WOMENSWEAR label Maggie T has signed a new lease at Little Collins St in Melbourne's CBD, in a deal negotiated by Savills Australia.
Savills’ Jock Thomson, Michael Di Carlo and Jeremy Marmur negotiated the lease at 279 Little Collins St.
The property comprises a ground floor retail area of 49.5 sqm, which has been leased for an undisclosed term at approximately $4,000 per sqm net.
Thomson said this is Maggie T’s third CBD store, including Bourke St and Collins Place and its eighth store in Melbourne.
He added that the location was chosen for its reputation as the CBD’s best known and longest standing fashion precinct.
“The Little Collins St name is synonymous with fashion almost to the point where a presence here is considered a must for serious fashion houses and Maggie T has established that sort of reputation over the last 25 years,” Thomson said.
