AFTER nearly a decade of lying dormant, development has begun on the seven-hectare Martha Cove Town Centre site on the Mornington Peninsula.
Upon completion the project will include the waterfront residential apartment building The Moorings, restaurants, cafés, providores and retail shopping, with road works and a marine plaza to be complete by August.
The Karl Fender-designed Moorings includes 43 apartments with two, three and four-bedroom offerings, and 450sqm of restaurant space at the water’s edge. The apartments are slated for completion in the third quarter of 2018.
The waterfront retail and residential Martha Cove master-planned estate is set across 94 hectares on the Mornington Peninsula, and also features an integrated harbor with 300 wet berths.
