A 436-acre industrial property in northern British Columbia has come onto the market, looking to bring in $19.9m.
Century 21 Energy Realty has the marketing assignment for 5410 Isle Pierre Road in Fraser-Fort George, 32km west of Prince George.
The land, a former sawmill site, is spread across three parcels. The campaign pitches it as a turn-key industrial site, with a size that is rarely found near a city with a skilled workforce. Ideal uses would include forestry processing, mining and fabrication support, and warehousing, among others.
The property has more than 100,000 sq ft of building space and is zoned for large-scale operations. It has direct access to a CN railway line and three-phase 25kV industrial electricity. The site’s open land is primarily flat gravel. Highway 16 is 5km away on a paved road.
Prince George is a city of about 80,000 people, 500km north of Vancouver. It is considered the hub city of the northern part of the province.
