A 110-year-old Queenslander and a new townhome within Ashford Residences have found buyers, taking the Mirvac master-planned community in Everton Park to sold out after $87 million in sales.
The historic home, known as Murphy House sold for $2 million and the townhome for $1.15 million.
Thought to have been built around 1913, Murphy House at 4 Murphy Court was surrounded by one of the last inner-city Brisbane dairy farms until about the 1970s. Mirvac finalised the refurbishment of the historic Murphy’s Dairy Residence, situated at the entrance to the community, which opened as the Ashford Residences sales centre, before being restored and offered for sale as a heritage family home.
It offered quintessential heritage features, four bedrooms, three bathrooms, two living spaces and expansive verandahs on an 805 sqm parcel of land.
Ashford Residences was first launched to the market in 2019, featuring 80 terrace homes and 44 freestanding homes.
“The response to our Ashford Residences community has been extremely positive, with the buyers of our final home – Murphy House – commenting on its ease of living, friendly neighbourhood atmosphere and the quality of the restoration, which seamlessly blended old with new,” said Mirvac general manager residential Queensland, Warwick Bible.
Mirvac’s other Queensland developments include the Everleigh master planned community in Greenbank, and the Ascot Green and Waterfront Newstead apartments in Brisbane.
