THE Kawana Business Village on the Sunshine Coast has launched the new strata title K1 office project.
The new three-level office building at 16 Innovation Parkway is the latest project from private Queensland developer Renard Developments, which also recently completed a 12,000 sqm industrial complex at Murrarie for Yamaha Motor Australia.
K1 has also met with strong success, with contracts signed on 60% of the strata-title office areas on offer prior to completion.
The new Kawana office project was built by Integral Construction, designed by Mooloolaba architect Brad Read Design and marketed by Savills Sunshine Coast.
Savills’ Jason O’Meara said this is the best new office building in Kawana.
“It takes full advantage of its prime location overlooking Lake Kawana and boasts a standard of design and finish that is unmatched in the precinct,” he added.
Savills’ Barry Ashby said K1 is the only office building in the emerging Kawana Business Village precinct that specifically caters for smaller tenancies.
O’Meara said office spaces available for sale start from 139 sqm to 167 sqm with prices from $553,000 and spaces available to lease start from 138 sqm to a combination of 1000 sqm, with rentals from $295 per sqm.
“The future prosperity of the immediate area surrounding the Kawana Business Village is set to benefit from more than $1 billion of planned infrastructure and development projects.
“These include the proposed Kawana Town Centre, the Sunshine Coast Regional Hospital, various mixed-use residential precincts and the multi-modal transport corridor comprising a full-scale transport interchange, railway station and extension of the Sunshine Motorway,” Ashby concluded.
