The residential property auctions market has slipped below the 50% clearance this week.
According to Australian Property Monitors’ Home Price Guide, the clearance rate fell below 50% in most capital cities last Saturday.
Last Saturday in Sydney, 303 properties were auctioned and 144 were sold resulting in a clearance rate of 49.5%.
The total value of properties sold was $126.7 million.
In Adelaide, there were 51 auctions and 26 sales resulting in a clearance rate of 60.5%. The total value of properties sold was $9.1 million.
In Brisbane, 63 properties went under the hammer and 18 were sold resulting in a clearance rate of 45%. The total value of properties sold was $8.3 million.
