PBA Group of Cos. and Concord Hospitality have teamed up to convert a 170,000 sq ft vacant office building in Calgary into a 226-room Element Hotel.
The 12-storey property, the former Canadian Centre, will have studios and one-bedroom suites with kitchens. Amenities are slated to include a café, a lobby lounge, a restaurant and a fitness centre.
The project is the first lodging initiative under the Downtown Calgary Development Incentive Program. Construction is expected to be complete by mid-2025.
