GRILLED skewer and salad retailer, Persian Meats, has leased a shop in Melbourne CBD‘s prime takeaway food precinct.
Savills Victorian retail director Michael Di Carlo, Jeremy Marmur and Jock Thomson negotiated the lease at shop 1, 289 Flinders Lane on the corner with Elizabeth St.
The property comprises a ground floor retail area of 29 sqm, which has been leased on an eight-year term at circa $8,000 per sqm p.a. net.
Di Carlo said the new store would be Persian Meats’ first foray into the CBD, joining KFC, McDonalds, South Melbourne Dim Sum and Walker doughnuts in the precinct.
“Persian Meats has chosen a great location to launch its CBD business. The precinct is the premier takeaway food precinct in the CBD with enormous foot traffic and the drawing power of well established brands.
“All things considered Persian Meats has made an excellent decision on the location of its business at a time when the CBD residential population has increased significantly and will continue to do so as new apartments become available,” Di Carlo said.
