COFFEE group Sargon has leased two Melbourne CBD spaces for their specialist coffee concept.
In both leases, at 24 Collins St and within the newly redeveloped 50,000sqm 570 Bourke Street tower, JLL’s Mitchell Humphreys represented Sargon’s operator and founder Serge Beteramia.
“Being an experienced coffee operator in this market is not enough. It’s integral that the quality of the operators new to market fit-outs and product standard is exceptional, it’s the job of real estate services advisersto ensure operators and landlords are thinking outside the square when it comes to what will be market relevant now and into the future,” Humphreys said.
“The key is providing consistently outstanding products across all stores coupled with intricately designed precinct relevant fit-outs.
“We are finding that even in a city as densely populated with food offerings as Melbourne, hospitality operators have a desire to open multiple city stores to service the different quadrants. People don’t want to walk far for the amenity they require but will stick with a brand they have a level of comfort with. So the message for operators is that they will continue to grow the success of their business as long as high standards and consistency in product and service is maintained,” he added.
Sargon is expected to open at 570 Bourke Street in early September.
