TIERNAN O’Rourke is stepping down as CFO of Stockland after serving in the position for eight years.
O’Rourke had more than 20 years of experience in senior financial, commercial and planning roles across a range of industry sectors before joining Stockland.
Before coming to Stockland O’Rourke was the CFO at Transfield Services Limited and also chief executive of Transfield Services Middle East and Asia Region, CFO of Australand and he has also held senior finance positions at AGL, Westfield, CSR and Brambles.
“Tiernan has been a highly valued leader at Stockland,” said Tarun Gupta, managing director and chief executive officer at Stockland.
O’Rourke will continue in his position until late 2021, helping to guarantee a seamless transition.
“During his eight years he has made a significant contribution to the operation and governance of the Group with a particular focus on finance, treasury, tax, investor relations and a number of other group functions including strategy and sustainability.”
“I would like to thank Tiernan for his dedication and commitment to the organisation and I wish him well for his future endeavours,” said Gupta.
Stockland has already begun the process of finding a successor for the role, both internally and externally.
