THE Department of Planning and Environment has recommended the approval of Mirvac’s $292 million mixed-use development in Sydney Olympic Park.
NSW Minister for Planning and Housing Anthony Roberts said the project is a state significant development.
The four residential apartment buildings will provide 705 new homes as well as ground floor retail.
“This development will see an abundance of homes, shops, cafes, restaurants and open space that will contribute to making the area a great place to live, work and play.
“Approving such a key development at Sydney Olympic Park aligns with the NSW Government’s goal to renew and grow the supply of social, affordable and private housing in accessible locations,” Roberts said.
Development works will generate more than 900 construction jobs and 54 ongoing jobs once the development is built.
