Agents Greencliff sold the penthouse which spans three levels to a current resident within the building who was looking to upgrade.
Developed by Frasers Property Australia, Lumiere Residences is located in Sydney’s prestigious mid-town precinct, standing at 56-storeys high.
Greencliff sales director David Butt said this sale is indicative of the unprecedented demand within Sydney’s property market at present.
“The purchaser was looking for an opportunity to upgrade their home and lifestyle, without having to compromise the prime living opportunity in Lumiere. They know and love the product and appreciate the added value that comes with a new home in the residential building.
“The penthouse offers three spacious levels which are currently being fitted out with premium fixtures, fittings and furnishings, as well including its own internal lift,” Butt said.
“The limited number of penthouses in Lumiere means it’s an exclusive opportunity to be part of something very special. The last remaining penthouse in Lumiere is 290 sqm in size, offers three bedrooms, a private internal lift and is also priced at $6.5 million,” he added.
Butt sad the recent sales are further evidence of uplift in the prestige property market.
“It’s clear that buyers are willing to pay top dollar to secure a home that is designed by a world-class architect and in such a prime location.
“Greencliff continue to experience demand for premium apartments that are well-serviced by local transport and infrastructure. Very often prime CBD living opportunities are snapped up before they even hit the market,” he concluded.
