LUXURY Italian fashion house Versace has signed up for US group Pembroke’s T&G Building at the Paris End of Collins Street in Melbourne’s CBD.
The label will has agreed to a decade-long deal over 307 sqm space with Collins Street frontage, which will be its first stand-alone site in the country. Its only other location is in Pitt Street Mall’s Westfield Sydney.
Pembroke has also secured the signature of Italian luxury label Bottega Veneta for the refurbished 1930s building, and existing tenant Gucci has expanded their footprint.
Rents in and around the 161 Collins Street building are around $4,000 per sqm.
Works on the building also include upgrades across its office space. On completion next year it will have 43,000 sqm of A-grade office space and floor plates as big as 4,000 sqm.
