WATPAC’S construction division has won two contracts totalling $155 million in south-east Queensland.
The company has been awarded construction of the $107 million Advanced Engineering Building, a seven-storey 22,000 sqm building at The University of Queensland’s St Lucia campus in Brisbane, which is being funded by the Australian Government through the Education Investment Fund, the Queensland Government and The University of Queensland.
Watpac has also been awarded the Boondall Aged Care Facility in Brisbane, valued at $48 million.
The seven-storey building is an independent living and aged care facility comprising 128 one units plus a 10-room aged care facility.
