Savills Australia’s retail director Michael Di Carlo, Jeremy Marmur and Jock Thomson negotiated the lease at 829 Bourke St, on behalf of Lend Lease.
The deal was struck at circa $600 per sqm net on a five-year term. The property comprises a 450 sqm building area over two levels with 250 sqm on the ground floor and 200 sqm upstairs.
Di Carlo said Whyte’s wanted to make a grand statement with a contemporary style restaurant offering.
“This is Whyte’s first CBD/Docklands venture and looks to capitalize on its successful waterside Torquay business with an innovative product designed to capture what is a unique Docklands market,” Di Carlo said.
