Savills has hired Ruth Fischer as president of Canada as the firm looks to solidify and expand its presence in the market.
Based in Toronto, she will lead Savills’ Canadian business, including its offices in Toronto, Montreal, Calgary and Edmonton. Her appointment was effective April 15.
Fischer joined the brokerage firm from CBRE, where she was the managing director of operations in Quebec, leading brokerage activities across Montreal, Saint-Laurent and Quebec City.
